When musicians get married….a vintage wedding with summer resort flair

Oh, I have wonderful memories of this wedding in August 2016 which was very cool, affectionate, relaxed and perfectly planned.
When I got into my car that morning, put on my sunglasses and set out for Wartholz castle in beautiful Reichenau an der Rax I already knew that this would be a great day.

It is always nice to pass the popular spa with its Fin de Siècle villas. Once arrived there the guests were awaited by an attractively decorated park which reflected this flair and there the wedding ceremony would take place. One could definitely say that this was an experience of a special kind. It was particularly the mixture of loving affection and laid-back atmosphere of Marie and Ivo that you don´t come often across. In my opinion this is exactly the combination you can feel in the pictures. I especially will remember the short but sweet shock effect after the kiss (I only say: Red lipstick!). After that we did not only enjoy the lovely weather, but as well drinks and home-made delicacies outdoors.

Marie and Ivo sticked to their motto – by the way, I forgot to tell you the issue itself :
Starting from the invitation cards to the decoration of the tables and the outfit of the groom everything was inspired by the movie „Grand Hotel Budapest“.
For those of you who don´t know the movie:
1. Definitely worth seeing!
2. The link to the trailer:

The opening with the entry of the guests got our hearts going, the decoration was fantastic! Even every table had a different motto.

After a delicious meal it soon became clear that Ivo (who works as a musician) was quite involved in the planning – one musical highlight was followed by the other, really brilliant!

Marie and Ivo (or Marivo, as they called themselves this evening) also independently invited guests tot he party afterwards – a good idea, in my view.
Due to the exuberant atmosphere , great emotional moments, many funny and fantastic intermezzos the evening was unforgettable in every respect. I could go on like this all the time, but think, pictures speak louder than words.
